While this is motivating their successes and achievements feel so far stretched from my own. They share proven methods, research and success stories to prove their strategies.

They have perhaps done a lot of schooling, achieved a lot of career or personal success and maybe even worked with a lot of clients. I’ve read my share, and continue to read, self-development books from “experts” in the field. The book felt like I was reading another woman’s journal entries, a glimpse into her personal life and the reassurance that these moments I’ve had where I let myself get triggered and fall into a strong mood are totally normal. I’ve also been there having a public meltdown in a department store, freaking out about a mistake at my job for the outcome to work out and having an argument with my partner that was triggered by me being in a snappy mood. I loved how much I could relate to the Book of Moods. In case you have yet to come across this book, the author Lauren Martin, who also founded the very popular Instagram Account, Words of Women, explores her moods and triggers for five years and shares these experiences by categories in her book through personal stories, insights and lessons and explains how she used this knowledge to really understand and empower herself.

I personally love it, which is why I really enjoyed the The Book of Moods: How I Turned My Worst Emotions Into My Best Life by Lauren Martin.
